March 2022: White River Books was born out of my love of books and story-telling, and 12 years after Novel Tea had closed on Main Street, Carbondale needed a bookshop again.  Named for the National Forest that surrounds us, White River Books is a place for the Carbondale community and the entire Roaring Fork Valley to access books, and a place to keep story-telling alive. Everyone is encouraged to come in as you are, find your next read, and connect with something larger over stories.
